Nick Reed

Head of Mobility R&D, Bosch

Nick Reed is head of mobility R&D at Bosch having worked at TRL (the UK’s Transport Research Laboratory) for many years where he led many human factors studies and their work on connected and automated vehicles, including the GATEway project and the creation of the UK Smart Mobility Living Lab.

His background is in psychology and the understanding of driver behaviour and he holds a visiting professorship at the University of Surrey 5G Innovation Centre. His role at Bosch is around research to improve mobility in cities with a focus on connected and automated vehicles.
